Last Film You Watched

Really enjoyed Lawless, I like the Tom hardy fella he is great in Peaky blinders as well. There is another Hardy film called Child 44 it's a good watch.

His best film (imo ) is - Locke.

He`s the only person in it and virtually the whole film is just him in his car on his mobile.

Very well acted and shows what he can do with a decent script.

Thats the Russian serial killer one isnt it?
Yeah I like Hardy,Lawless was ok but considering the cast I just expected a bit more just seemed to centre mainly around the youngest brother

I remember watching it but honestly cant remember too much about it,though I have seen a couple of documentaries about the killer
I caught it one night when I was flicking though the channels really good film. There was another two books after this one don't know whether they made it to film though.

A pretty good film that keeps you guessing right up to the end. A socially awkward bin man becomes convinced that a prominent citizen is evading justice after a local child goes missing. I know that doesn't sound promising but there are far worse movies out there...

Child 44 is loosely based on a book written about the Russian Detective who caught the serial Andrei Chikatilo and who later went onto the form the Russian equivalent of the FBI.

The book is called - the Killer Department and was made into a film in the 90`s called Citizen X.

This was during the time when Soviet Russia didn`t acknowledge that Russians could be serial killers and the authorities refused point blank to accept there was a serial killer working the railways.

The Killer Department is one of the best real life books I`ve ever read and although the film is okay, it didn`t do the book justice.
