Set in the 1950s or so, its message that modern life drains us of the magic of even the best of childhoods is a relevant one. Eminently watchable for all the family and (ignoring the inevitable and predictable "happy" ending) an enjoyable film to boot...

The London scenes show the usual Disney/America disregard for accuracy, underground station labeled 'Subway'. Kept the kids quiet which is the aim.

Not a problem, we watch them every other week at Goodison.

Psycho.. the 1998 remake.
Strangely, I didn't think it was terrible at all, if only because it kept me captivated through sheer morbid curiosity throughout

Aquaman, it's just as good as I thought first time I saw it. Great film. It does make me laugh that this was one of the first DCEU films that Warner Bros didn't screw up! Aquaman of all things!

Went to see Shazam yesterday, really liked it, I thought the story was different and Billy/shazam is a great character. I'm hoping it does well and there is a sequel and the Black Adam film gets made

Not if you have read the books. Reacher is meant to be 6'4" and built like a brick shthouse. I don't mind Tom Cruise as an actor but he was totally miscast for this role.

I've read four Reacher books, and TBH, Tom Cruise didn't bother me at all as Jack Reacher.

I believe they're actually planning for a triolgy of Shazam films along with a stand-alone Black Adam movie due out between the second and third.

Enjoyable film a good 7.5/10 for me. Looking forward to the next one

Very enjoyable and actually really funny. Best DC film I’ve seen since Nolan. Not seen many though. 8/10
