Oh I wish I could say you were right but sadly the novel of the movie made it very clear that they'd had a long-term relationship. If all blentent innuendos of the film weren't enough then read the book and they spell it out for everyone. It's so ludicrous and pointless that it's painful just like the L3 character in general.

The entire notion of a droid liberation movement in Solo is nonsensical. It's like The Last Jedi when they are running out of fuel despite fuel never, EVER being mentioned in anything star wars related prior to it. It's lazy writing at it's worst. There was no point to the L3 character whatsoever other then to have another female cast member and score points for all her "right on" lines that made most of the audience cringe.

Nah, it's the best part of the film. I'm now excitedly looking forward to the standalone Lando film.

The droid states it hasn't happened. Therefore it hasn't happened. Don't care one bit what somebody thinks may or may not be 'implied'. Its stated ot hasn't happened.

The film is bare garbage anyway.

Also watched Solo and not wanting to open the, “did they, didn’t they” debate, I thought L3 was an awful character.

Shame as K-2SO was one of the better characters in rogue one and produced a memorable performance.

Get Carter (1971)

Seen it three or four times before but not for a while so I put it on Friday night. Absolutely brilliant and a stark reminder of how bad British beaches used to be.
