Just watched The Sting. What a classic, Newman and Redford on top form.
Butch Cassidy and the Sun Dance Kid with them is equally as good if not better

Aliens ( @Prevenger17 won`t agree )
Also, Lol at the lad who thinks of Marvel films as auteur rulebook-out-the-window masterpieces saying MI:6 was too predictable
Not my fault you don’t understand the humble motion picture with your tiny brain.
I seen the Godfather in the Philharmonic years ago, great film on the big screen.Watched The Godfather part 1 and 2 over the weekend. Both absolutely boss didn't seem like 3 hours each to watch. I think I preferred the first 1 because of Brando. I really liked his slurry, mumbly (Is that a word?) delivery that just pulls you in. De Niro is great in the second but I'm all about Brando.
Also boxed off Raging Bull (pun intended) in between and wasn't as impressed, I think the black and white filming put me off a bit. Gonna watch The Godfather part 3 in the week.

Raging Bull i love that one, for me the black and white adds something to it, things like La Haine and obviously Shindlers List made in the modern area but in black and white. Plus because Raging Bull is quite brutal in places you dont have loads of blood standing out. Besides the time its set in, most, well all perhaps boxing footage from back then is in black and white, so the film looks authentic. Much prefer Raging Bull to Rocky
Went to a special Halloween evening double bill of the Omen and the Exorcist years ago at a local cinema.managed to see goodfellas, cool hand luke and apocalypse now in FACT on the big screen. brilliant to see them in that context
That last sentence. It suggests that you like proper films as opposed to Disney schmaltz.I seen the Godfather in the Philharmonic years ago, great film on the big screen.

The book from which the film is taken is much much better.Wild (2014). Wildly-unlikeable main character + unrealistic journey (she looks, sounds & acts the same throughout) + mawkish emoting + poor camera work which failed to show off American landscapes = 3/10 - earned its meagre 3 points with some of the more realistic wander details.
