Man, you guys are embarassing. We are absolutely hurting for players and we have the chance to get the best American outfield player of the last 20 years on loan for three months.
Yet this still isn't good enough for some of you? Seriously?
Jeez. Really poor here in all honesty. I expect more from felloow Evertonians who I consider "informed."

That's the clubs transfer policy matey. And now look where we are in the league.
This is a windup right?

Bit harsh to call the best player in for the country ranked only five places below England a no mark pal.
There's no fee and he could prove a decent extra attacking player to have around at a vital time of the season.

Get over yourself and get past that he's American.
Transfer policy?
Moyes said he would only bring players in on loan with a view to a permanent move. That I don't have a problem with. I would have welcomed the move in that case. Did he say that?
But to me, a ten week holiday with seemingly no view to a permanent deal makes no sense to me, especially for a player with no experience in a decent league. Lots of assertions there lid, don't you consider the Bundesliga to be a decent league?
Players will be back by the time he arrives and if we get more injuries, I would sooner play our young lads than to give a home sick American a 10 week holiday. Its looking more likely that Arteta and Jagielka won't return until the end of Jan. Coupled with players leaving for the ANC it makes perfect sense to bring him in for no fee.
This will be the only Moyes transfer that I've been against. What about Koldrup you liar.

We're giving a 27-year-old no mark (in that he's completely unproven in any decent league) a 10 week trial holiday. You've changed from your previous standpoint of no experience in a decent league. Are you judging him on not making an impression in the Bundesliga? Do you consider International Football not to be a decent league standard?
£65,000 a week isn't it?Is that confirmed?
The only benefit I can see is that its an extra body, and that it'll generate some more interest from America. Extra exposure in a growing soccer market is always welcome.
Just seems a bit odd to me.

Well [Poor language removed]. Then I guess you wrote of Howard, Dempsey, Reyna, and every other USA player who played in the unproven MLS before they came over huh?
Or is this one somehow different?
Do they have to have played in a big league to be able to help us? Does his international pedigree and accomplishments count for nothing?
I mean the way your talking, it sounds like he's good for a few own goals and injuring a few of our players in training before coming back.
To quote you: "Behave."

Its not in our long term interest. Even in our worst days we had better short term deals than this.
The press conference was to announce he had signed a new contract. That to me means theres no realistic chance of signing him after the loan, which makes it pointless and small time.
Him not to get a game.![]()

Winner against Carlisle nailed on here.
PS: Bill's going to shoot you in your sleep there.
