Seen quite a few wearing blag shirts at the match. They will only get more popular as the prices of official shirts go up and up.

£75 for an ‘official replica’ which is not the same as what the players wear, is an utter disgrace.

If they are as poorly made as castore then why not imo

Seen ppl saying this kind of thing a lot. As far as I am aware the kits we buy have never been the same as what the players wear, so aside from them being a little more expensive now (which happens year by year pretty much?), nothing has changed. My dad was treasurer for a club in the 80s, and I got an actual authentic kit given to me

I was thinking about the quality of shirts when I was a teenager. You didn't have a hope of getting an Everton shirt in Dublin in the 80s so it was a case of making sure you had the readies when you were over for a match on the B&I ferry.
If I recall correctly,I think the Hafnia 1983 shirt was £16.99? If that's right, inflation rates since then put that at a staggering £71.85!

So really it's an inflation and quality issue isn't it? The companies making the shirts have cut corners gradually over the last decades( we've had issues with badges and sponsor pealing off in the past too), resulting in the situation where the cheap knockoffs aren't distinguishable from the Castore £75 ones.

Having said all that,if it wasn't for Stake,I'd be buying it anyway

I can’t see us doing that, the contract we signed with them was massive, £20m a year, unless someone is prepared to pay us more than that, we will be sticking with Castore

If the club earned £10m from castore or could have Nike / Adidas for £4m I swear some people on here would prefer it.
Same people would most likely also be moaning about the clubs commercial deals being poor and not having enough money to compete in the transfer market

I cant see us cancelling the Castore contract, they are paying is a lot to be founder members, but if we did we could have something like this from Adidas with Toyota on the front (don't look to closely at the badges! AI is still learning )

My son wants Ndiaye second shirt for birthday, with Stake branding in front. The smallest adult shirt is way too big, but smallest women's might work in size. Does anyone know if the model is ok for a young (10 y/o) lad?

It’s a fitted shirt for a woman’s body so would look out of place on him.

You can see the curvature in the cut of the fabric on the women’s shirt more from the back. Here’s the men’s and then women’s as a comparison. Not sure if that’s the away kit he wants, but the designs are the same.

I wouldn’t wear it but I don’t hate it, at least it’s unique.
