I think Newcastle Brighton and Bournemouth are all better than us. Brighton is close, Bournemouth maybe not anymore without Semenyo. And Fulham is close too.
Seven games against the teams above with only one defeat and five wins.

Well that’s certainly not true because we lost to Newcastle and Bournemouth at home, but beyond that sometimes you’ll get totally outplayed like we were at Bournemouth and then a deflection goes in so you win 1-0.Seven games against the teams above with only one defeat and five wins.
I don’t know if I’d call it a purple patch. His goals and assists have come pretty spaced out over the season. Hopefully there are more to come.I have him on multiple sites at 6 goals 3 assists, the same as Iliman.
It’s going to rile people up, but I still don’t see it as particularly impressive for the role he has. He’s essentially a second striker in attack. He also takes set pieces a lot. The production could be greater.
But beyond that I don’t think the goal return is repeatable. It’s a purple patch. He doesn’t shoot enough to keep scoring like this. And when you throw that on top of his passing game, which is mostly conservative and safe, I just don’t enjoy it or believe in it still.
He’s awesome at making that underlapping run in the inside left channel though. If it were possible to build an entire attack out of one run he’d be world class.
Haha, I see.It just highlights that Big Oil doesn't actually understand football. He can't appreciate the nuances and intangibles that KDH brings to the team.
Here’s the thing: I’m kinda disappointed in Ndiaye’s season too. I wanted to see him take a step and I don’t think he has. Now the root of all this is the manager and I’ll concede that maybe a different manager with a more coherent attacking plan gets more out of everyone KDH included.I don’t know if I’d call it a purple patch. Also even if it is only 6 goals and 3 assists (I’ll concede that Premier League official trumps transfermarkt), that’s still the same as N‘Diaye, who we‘d all agree is a great player for us.
Ok, maybe there are some players who could offer more. But to get one you’ll have to pay MASSIVE money or unearth some gem from the lower leagues/abroad who no one knows about. Good luck with that! Plus I’d argue we need to spend money elsewhere in the team.
But at the end of the day what you like/don‘t like is subjective so I can’t really argue with you there. Fair enough.
From 2 weeks ago, mate… Even better stats now after the weekend:I don’t know if I’d call it a purple patch. His goals and assists have come pretty spaced out over the season. Hopefully there are more to come.

Maybe he was related? I think there is a range of views that are tolerable and people can differ but some takes are just so wild that they need to be called out.Haha, I see.
I mean, I guess he’s entitled to say „I don’t like his style of play“, and I suppose it’s fair enough.
When I used to have my season ticket the guy next to me always went on about how much he loved Tobias Linderoth, and always described him as „a proper little player“. I could never understand why he liked him so much but I didn’t want to make him feel bad so I just used to say „yeah, he’s great isn’t he!“.
Plus my new attitude is to be nice to blues on here. I’m sure he’s a good guy, despite our differing views on KDH.
Yeah, massive money doesn’t always guarantee a return. It helps but it’s no guarantee. From 2 weeks ago, mate… Even better stats now after the weekend:

One cost massive money, the other one didn’t…![]()
And he’s young, so there’s still tonnes of potential for him to get better, mate…Yeah, massive money doesn’t always guarantee a return. It helps but it’s no guarantee.
I’d seen the 6 goals 5 assists too. I thought that’s what he had, but in fairness I think Premier League stats only have him on 6 and 3. still decent though.
I like him and think he’s been a great positive this season.
Mate are you sure you are an Evertonian, because to be honest your posts say you at a crossroads. Here’s the thing: I’m kinda disappointed in Ndiaye’s season too. I wanted to see him take a step and I don’t think he has. Now the root of all this is the manager and I’ll concede that maybe a different manager with a more coherent attacking plan gets more out of everyone KDH included.
But for me when I watch Ndiaye I see him looking to play in the way I’d expect someone in his position to play, especially when he’s on the left. I just don’t see it the same with KDH. The risk reward balance is wrong. The constant attention to how to threaten and open up teams that the best creators have isn’t there. He’s more concerned with moving the ball along and completing passes imo, which has a place in a team, but that place isn’t the guy playing off the striker.
I know I’m very much alone in this opinion but whatever, it’s still how I see it. I’ve been very wrong about the guy generally and I’ll admit to that, I expected a disaster, but I still think his best role isn’t what he’s been doing this season. What we’re having him do now is limiting our attacking play.
I’ve seen this movie too many times. We win games and get to about this exact spot in the league and everyone starts talking about Europe and how great everything is and we just ignore all the flaws. We’re not doing anything about any of our weak points either. Just hoping they dont matter.Mate are you sure you are an Evertonian, because to be honest your posts say you at a crossroads.
