Forest fans liking the look of him already:

"Technically fantastic"
"What a player he looks."
"Different Class."
"very assured and classy tonight."
"Oozed class."
"Considering he's only been at the club 2 days the way he came on and oozed such confidence and swagger was very impressive."

"His work in tight spaces was impressive, he shunned the easy pass for a more telling one & looks excellent at finding space."

A year loan in the Championship with regular game time is great for his development. He will come back as a better player and we'll see if he is ready next season.

In euro 2016, this is the leagues the playears came from:

  • Domestic leagues with most representation
  • England (103 Premier League, 31 Championship, 4 League One, 1 League Two)
65 – Germany (57 1. Bundesliga, 8 2. Bundesliga)
56 – Italy (52 Serie A, 4 Serie B)
36 – Turkey (36 Süper Lig)
35 – Spain (34 Primera, 1 Segunda)
32 – Russia (32 Premier League)
22 – France (22 Ligue 1)

La liga primera only had three more players than the championship in euro 16. The standard isn't as terrible as some would have you believe

Clip of a lovely pass here for a disallowed goal from last night.

Had a good debut by all accounts.
I would say that corner routine that Dowell initiated came from USM FF training ground . Our u18s did exactly the same between Scully and Anthony Gordon, scoped over defender for attempt at goal, it was in the televised tournament in Prague. Can't believe they had time to practice it , so would seem Kieran told him what he was going to do , either way it was impressive to initiate that when he's barely settled into the team.

To Ben fair that's just numbers so. Says nothing of the quality of the players

Nothing further...Unsy was given a large pot to buy new players as a reward for last season so will likely stay his hand for now.
It,s my opinion that Unsy wants to see the players he is developing become EVERTON players in the 1st team which runs opposite to the "Quick Fix" approach from Ronald.

The only thing missing from everyone is patience.
unsy needs to be patient to see his 17-20 yr olds breaking into the first team
fans need patience to see this top 4 / title winning team coming together
Rk needs to be patient to see that this project is seen through, rather than him doing a 3 yr stint and moving on to wherever next he thinks gets him to manage Barcelona
young players need to be patient - stay till they're 22- 24 yrs old and rather than moving to Sunderland or Man U just wait it out. At one type of club you get relegated and lost in the wilderness, at the other types, you are flavour of the month for one manager and cast out into the wilderness when you're forgotten.

All we need is to wait and see this current era out - Moshiri - Steve Walsh- Koeman - Unsy and hope that they are all working together in coordination.

5 years from now we could be the place to be for both young and established players, and a club with a big stadium and success. Young players have got no sense of history - so we have to make a splash. Nobody is coming to us just because we are the 4th most successful club in history - they want THFC, Chelsea, Man City even though nobody cared about them 15 yrs ago. We can get there!
