You're ignoring the rolling three year period for PSR. We were not in this position the prior two years.

true but forest turnover before they were in the prem was only 30 mil

our turnover in that same period would have been around 180 mil

And their profits/losses were correlated to their revenues. Each season they've stayed in the PL, up until the third fiscal year, allows them to lose more money and still remain in compliance.

if they spend 60 mil on cunha, they will be only behind chelsea, liverpool, arsenal, man utd, man city and spurs for a club record signing purchase

doesn't make sense

That's only 12 million/year, plus his salary. You can lose 13 million per season in the championship and be in compliance. You can lose 35 million in the PL and be in compliance. That's 22 million of breathing room "earned" per year in the PL.

they recorded a 61.5 mil loss last year

their revenue isn't going up

if they keep spending they will make a bigger loss next year

And they're allowed to because they will have spent more time in the PL where they are allowed to lose more money and stay in compliance.

Is this tour guide going to actually sign someone or is he effectively already on gardening leave and we need to shine a light on Dithering Davey?
