There's no way on Earth that whoever is in charge of transfers at this club did anything so old fashioned as to have Beto actually scouted.

Absolutely reeks of a deal done on 'metrics' and arrangements with an agent. It's impossible to believe that someone sat and watched him play for any amount of time and walked away thinking he's capable of being a PL footballer.

Beto is here because he was available for nothing up front. No other reason

The signing of Beto really doesn't give you confidence that this chap can sign players.

You can tell from watching Beto for half an hour that he's no natural footballer.

Put it in the list with Niasse, Gamin, Klaassen... as another shocker from our so called football experts.

Would have been better to have kept Simms and Cannon.

Klaassen didn't suit the premier league. He has had a decent career outside of us.

You right Beto looks no better than simms who in fairness isn't a top player either. Championship at best both of them.
