He's not in the top level of players but he's brilliant for us and we're not doing much better any time soon.

Any nonsense about his effort is ridiculous. Even when he puts your typical anonymous winger performance in you still get a shift from him.

I've said before that the way Martinez handled Mirallas last year played a key role in costing him his job and I stand by that.

Really talented player but he's contributed to us losing as many games (through getting sent off or going missing) as he's helped us win. He just needs to be more consistent and he'll be boss.

He's brilliant to watch and unplayable when he's on his game.

Genuinely a new signing if he can keep it up.

Koeman can definitely sort out his flaws, and if anything Kev is running out of time to really kick on and show his ability. Another season like last and he's missed out on his peak football.

Between him and Jagielka they weren't concentrating yesterday for that goal we conceded. Mirallas in particular was there and and may as well not have been. It was his ball to clear when it drifted over the head of an out of position Jagielka, and an easy clearance to make too.

That sad, you could also point the finger at the GK as well. He wasn't decisive enough to see off a West Brom challenge in order to get a hand on the cross.

He also scrored the goal and won the free kick that led to the corner that got us the winner.

I know that. He basically made up for what he'd conceded.

His problem is going to be what it's always been: consistency. Personally I think he's way too flaky to ever offer any team that and he'll be in and out of the team. Doesn't matter who the manager is, he's always going to blow hot and cold.

That's hopefully where our strength in depth, or potential strength in depth will come in handy, it'll with focus him or he won't play. He's never had that at Everton. I'd see my arse if Cleverley was being picked ahead of me if I were him. That's not so easy if he has a genuine wide player, in better form playing ahead of him.

He'll get a titty lip if he's left out. I think we know it. He wont last a season under Koeman. He wont indulge him the way others did.
