Any time Mirallas is on a yellow card you have to be really careful. He has form for getting a second yellow. Imagine the fume and second-guessing if he had been sent off.

Injuries haven't helped but he really is our only big game player. Every top 6 match he should either be starting or ready to go at half as an impact sub because he doesn't hide and regularly creates goals. If Rom finds him today he bags another against United

Sometimes the type of snidely player our club desperately needs can't tell the difference and will absolutely cross that line. But you know what...?

We technically had possession when the ref blew though. It should've been ours that's why there was the confusion because United, especially with the ref tonight, assume they should get everything. I'm glad he took over and I'm glad it ruffled feathers. Too many would've been scared to upset, he's a player with conviction.

Aside from the brain fart in the first half to give away the free kick that led them hitting the bar, he was one of our best players. Can understand Ronk taking him off on a yellow card, but surely the logical change was to go like for like and bring Valencia or Lookman on in that position?

Entirely subjective and I'm utterly hypocritical on the subject. So if he'd done it against us I'd have wanted him executed by firing squad at dawn. Since it was a piece of gamesmanship in our favour ,I enjoyed it. . Like I say where Everton are concerned I am a hypocrite.
