Interesting how he said in his post match interview that he isn't a striker. He said it's not his preferred position but he's happy to help the team. Makes you wonder really why Naismith didn't get the nod from the start.
 
As has been said he's defo not a striker. Couldn't believe the amount of times he got caught offside although he was isolated up front and was constantly surrounded by at least (sic) 2 Villa defenders.

The free kick though was a thing of beauty.
 

He ran straight to Martinez after he scored. Seems to say something straight in Martinez face. Martinez didn't seem to say much and turn away without a smile on his face.

Think Mirallas got a bit carried away and was going to hug Roberto. Roberto was having none of that caper and was looking to get more instructions out to the lads, but did shout "YES" to Mirallas, before giving some instructions to Baines.

That's how I saw it anyway.

yeah i noticed that, mirallas looked like he was proving his point but what it was I dont know. Didnt look like a happy exchange, there was a bit of needle there
 
I do wonder about the celebration, to me it looked like it was a celebration with the manager but who knows?
