Just found this with some expert googling. Posted tonight.

21.12 BST LA Galaxy forward Landon Donovan says he would consider a move to a Mexican club, having come close to signing for Club America when he joined Everton on loan in 2010. Donovan said: “I don’t know what the future will hold.But there was a time, when I went to Everton last, I considered it. And I would [again] if it was genuine.â€￾

20.47 BST There are some murmurings that Everton are lining up a bid for Belgian striker Kevin Mirallas, who currently plays for Greek giants Olympiakos.

One thing you can say no one but DAVIDMOYES has called this,I've not seen us linked with Mirallis on any other forum.
Reminds me of the Fellaini signing no one caught a sniff of that, until the deal was done.
Who knows ?

Strong left winger, likes to score, very fast, defender's nightmare. However... why are Everton after him? He is a flare player that disappears if he plays within a system that does not feed him. At Olympiakos, they play through their wingers Abdoun/Mirallas/Fetfatzidis and have one player in the middle to mix things up, Fuster. This system gives lots of possession to the wingers especially Mirallas who everyone is instructed to pass to.

Unless the system is similar in that it is geared to full attack and full pressing without the ball, players like Mirallas, Abdoun, Fetfatzidis.....these players will disappear during a game.

We'd have Pienaar and Mirallas on either side alternating, with Jelavic in the middle.

Per Wikipedia, the Belgies have called up approximately 25 players for the Holland match. I can't see either side risking much for club players with the start of the Premier League this weekend = they're not going to play much, if at all.

Premier League Belgies who got called up: Vertonghen, Vermaelen, Dembele, Hazard and Lukaku. Fellaini and Kompany only ones not called up.

Premier League Dutchies: Vorm, Heitinga, De Jong, VDV, and Van Persie. The Butter Churners called up 24.

Big benches. With the club seasons about to start, nobody wants anyone to go down in a silly friendly unless its for the Low Countries Cup or some BS like that.

Don't see your point here mate. He's not a prem player (yet) so is still highly likely to play in this match therefore not be available to sign for anyone until Thursday at the earliest.
 

Olympiakos just signed a Portugese player this evening acc. to Skysports - maybe because they knew money was coming in.

A guy says this striker is signing, who is completely quailty. The guy has gotten 50% of his 2 predictions right, one of which was the Cahill transfer before anyone else.
