I doubt the modern footballer eats humble pie so to speak, more likely to sulk and demand a transfer.

I love Mirallas. He made a mistake, but he has been a bright spot in this poor season.

He is our best winger and this is not as big of a deal as people make it out to be. Our performance was not good enough and we should be focusing on that, not the possibility of a penalty win.
 
If we get peno Mirallas should take it.

1)scores-> shows t-shirt "Im sorry evertonians"
2)fails again-> fans boo him out and he realises it's time to get to fuq

No, Baines is our pen taker,the lack of respect he showed to Baines did it for me,he is a tit,and cost us three points.

Actually, it is as "big of a deal" as people make out it is.

In all likelihood it cost us two points and if a referee had disallowed a legitimate goal for us that night you wouldn't be so ready to just shrug it off and put it down to him making a mistake.

And who knows, the loss of those two points might have disastrous consequences for our club come May.

That said, you are perfectly right in what you say about Mirallas being one of the few bright spots this season.

So I think we should forgive him now and focus on what is ahead of us.

Though forgetting the incident is a different matter.
