Kenwright - Potential Legend?

Selling club?

McFadden wanted to leave because he wasnt guarranteed 1st team football. Birmingham were interested, sold.

AJ wanted to leave, as it turns out, because he didnt like how Moyes was playing him. Fulham were interested, sold -- for a ridiculous amount I might had. I bet Fulham aint impressed with his played 1 been sent off in the next game ratio. He walked, he wasnt pushed out.

Moyes aint signed his contract due to expenses apprantly. He's said it time and time again he wants to sign he's waiting for the club. As for his body language? He's lost two games on the back of poor performances. But what about the Stoke game when he kissed the badge and threw his jumper into our fans? Yeah, he hates the club.

Says it all really (y)

Must spread rep yadda yadda yadda....

Bill Kenwright is a legend already, imo.

I can't see him deliberately doing anything that would harm the interests of our club.

He has taken us from regular relegation fodder to regular UEFA campaigns. For that alone he should be a legend.

Sorry Dan but i cant agree with you on much of what you'v put. I was Ok with him up till this summer. An he [Poor language removed] it up big time. He spouted [Poor language removed] all summer, it was plain lies. He let the fans an the club down. Why? Im not sure.

The one thing i'll remember about bill............

Watch this space_______________!!

[Poor language removed]!!

To be fair Sharpy, Moyes did say the club had been let down big time regarding transfers so maybe harsh to pin it all on Kenwright?

His legacy will be of the man who blew it.

Sold most of our assets. financial mismanagement prior to his stewardship required some 'streamlining'.

So why did it take so long for him to sell these assets if it was mismanagement by prior board ?

Sold our biggest star in generations. who would still be here now of course if not for BK.

He made the choice to sell him, he didn't have to, but did.

Failed to land investment from anywhere in 8/9 years. robert earl has been brought in, and we have broken the transfer record four times.

Robert Earl has been brought in as the middle man for Green. If you don't believe that then look at this summers' fiasco. DK called in, all of a sudden Green in the papers saying he is not involved, then low and behold AJ is sold for £10/11m and we buy 1 player with a down payment of £3m.

Has pushed Everton to the brink of administration because of DK delay. im sure BK was jumping for joy at news of the DK delay.

No quite sure what you are saying here, a delay will add millions onto the total cost. A total cost that will now push Everton to the brink of administration . Are you happy with that ?

Has added around £40m to the debt we had when Johnson was in charge. has added around £40m of worth to the squad in the same time.

He has added, but he has also sold as well. This argument works both ways. In 1 foul swoop, he recouped £20m. That's half of your argument right there. Oh, wait, another £10/11 for AJ, and £4.5m for Beattie. There's your argument near enough wiped out.

The one good thing he did do was appoint Moyes as manager, and he even had to ask the man he was firing who should be his successor. kind of a loose arguement - him having the foresight to consult a football manager on another football manager seems prudent to me. and the one good thing? sticking by moyes and finding funds for him to spend every year without having to sell appear good thingS to me.

Consult the manager he has just fired ? That's just crude. I don't know where the hell you get the find funds every year without having to sell from. That's just a blatant lie.

Has given Moyes, since he has been here on average per year, around £5/7m a season to buy players.any chance you can break that down exactly for me so i can analyse your numbers for myself.

On average Moyes has spent something between £5/7m a season on players. If you want the figures, check the official website.

I concur.

Johnson was driving the club into the mersey. Kenwright has steadied the ship - and Kirby is only about improving the finances to fund improvement on the pitch at the end of the day (or to attract investment for the same purposes).

Kenwright is one of us, he wants to see Everton win things. Anyone who things he's out to deliberately ruin the club or line his pockets is well wide of the mark.

Its not his fault he's not a billionaire anymore than its your fault your not that rich.

ergo legend.

Yes i know mate. But it does'nt happen to most other teams. They get who they want. We missed out on about 10 players. The book has to stop with the chairman.

It's the bollocks i can't put up with. As if we hav'nt got a [Poor language removed] clue.

I do think Bill is a bit of a bullshitter but you're bang on with your comment. I'm convinced that he wants the best for us and even if it is the case that his best is not good enough, it doesn't make him any less of an Evertonian.

No but we aren't a toy that he can keep holding onto for as long as he wants.

John he is his own worse enemy most accept that he wants the best .Bill craves to be loved, but sadly his acumen is lacking his half truths and lies I think are said in panic when hes in a corner, but getting advice from the likes of Tom Cannon is not helpful on a radio interview tonight he stated that only single club city teams are targets like ASTON VILLA I thought they where in Birmingham,or london teams and his explanation for Man city they thought they were buying united, so please excuse my lack of confidence(y)

Ermm, Aston Villa - only real Brum team , and Manchester City, the only team in Manchester.

This is not to lend argument to either side, rather than make fun of Birmingham City and Manchester United :P

I agree BK has done some good work, but in between all that good work he has acted like a snake, telling lies and making promises he cant keep, thats what i will remember him for. What ever he does next i cant forgive the lies hes told.
Same here..the list could go on..FSF shrek not for sale for anything less than 50 million..but if he went now and secured us investment to take us to the next level he will be seen,in time at least,as a steady hand on the good ship everton.

If though as i suspect he will do,hang around time will not be so kind..we're on the cusp of something good here but it needs money throwing at it,sad to say but its the truth and money is something that BK doesnt have.
