It's not valid at all. Saying 'its just my job' obviously isn't valid when you're f***ing murdering people, but it's far more valid when you're interviewing people on tv while your editor is breathing down your neck. That's why it doesn't work as an analogy on any level, even drawing the comparison is crass.

Well you either believe that in the process of doing your job and following orders that using peoples emotions when a little girl is missing to make "entertaining" tv is ok or you don't.

I certainly don't think it is, there's no excuse for Burley (or anyone else involved) to broadcast what they did apart from the fact that they're assholes, it was out of order and not excusable because they were just doing their job, just as lots of other things aren't excusable for that reason.

Didn't her co presenter give her a smack years ago , i think he might of been giving her one also .

I can't stand her .

I don't see what she done wrong. She informed people of the latest updated news that the police have put out.

Didn't have to do it on camera to film their reactions is the point. It's ghoulish.

Mind I might be holding a grudge for that time she asked the wife of a murderer if she felt it was her fault for not ****ing him enough.

There's no comparison to be made there. Paxman puts the powerful under pressure to answer questions they'd rather avoid; this Burley monstor exploits the powerless and vulnerable.

Smack down right there mate, Burley,s a cnut...

She thought she was the new Diana, i swear she ****ing did during that sorry saga!!

No wonder she got a slap off her co presenter/ partne..FFS!!!!

Must admit i dont and wont watch sky news since well the late '90's and honestly thought this talentless old harridan had left that awful "news" channel sadly she is still there it seems.

As for looking for a reaction from people well stick a camera in front of them and they will like a monkey perform
