Judge Us After 10 Games

If we keep up this pace we are on for 70 points.

If anything comes of this season, we have a nightmare run in. 2 of our last 3 games are away to Liverpool and Chelsea.

hehe, would be great to get 70 but we haven't had any difficult games yet. people will say we've played man utd but i honestly expected us to win that - just had a feeling. we havent played any other tough games and despite being a mid table this includes liverpool because of psychology not because they're good. i don't see newcastle at home as a tough game, they overachieved.

Newcastle were still a tough team...I mean they are not a swansea or southampton...

Manchester United not a tough game?

What is your basis for comparison?

The big question for us is what happens in January? It's possible to get into a good position from now until the new year, but to sustain form we'd need re-enforcements, and not lose anyone in the transfer Window.

When we lose a big player for a few months, is when it will hurt.

Jelavic, Fellaini, Baines, Pienaar or Howard.

One or two of them is out for a few months, and we may struggle a bit.

Donavan, Cahill and Vadis on loan would be a good plan imo. They will add great cover and startetr options, and if it fails, they will go back.

Why would you want TC back that ship has well and truly sailed there is no room for sentiment in the premier league, he isn't good enough anymore. As for Vadis what do you base this on have you seen him play or are you just excited we got linked with another midfielder?? I said the same about Mirallas and turns out he's the bollox but i had never seen him play before he came so i didn't jump up and down shouting with excitement.

Maybe he trusts Moyes' judgement and would cover an area we could do with bolstering?

Moyes' judgement isn't correct everytime you know, he's bloody good in the transfer department but also signs sh!te too, Kroldrup, Straq(for all his hard work was pants) etc etc...

Are you arguing that adding Vadis, Donovon and Cahill wouldn't add anything to our squad?

*Edit* I'm not contesting the actuality of these signings happening

I know, I was just suggesting a reason why someone might be happy with the Vadis signing without having studied him.

I get what you say about Strac but I don't think it was that bad a signing per se. I doubt he cost all that much so was a low-risk signing when we were in dire need of striking options.

Cahill = Cover for a month or so, usefull off the bench, he ruffle's feathers, and would be good around the squad.
Newcastle Away, Southampton Away and United away. 3 games that he could be usefull coming off the bench, no harm at all.

Vadis, I did know of him before we were linked. He has always been rated highly, and when we did almost get him, I looked him up even more. Moyes signing all over him.
