Seems to be coming into form after a poor start to the season which is only good for us. Last night he was at his best in every single way. He was the difference for England. At 1-0 up he made so many crucial saves and defensive actions when the outfield players were cacking themselves.

Its a crime Baines didnt get more. He was unlucky to be in the 'prime Cole' era otherwise he'd have played every England game for years.
Pickford ought to be higher, but I think I agree with Gallagher, actually. I’ve never been that impressed with him - including when he was linked with us - but last night I finally understood what he does. He won back and kept possession in some really niggly tight spots.
But yeah, Pickford should be higher for me.
