Anyone who thinks we wouldn’t miss Pickford is mad imo, some terrible takes in this thread

However, I can see why some would argue that if we have no money to spend we could be better off selling Pickford if we could spend the money on people who will hold the ball up top and actually score goals because right now we have a very good keeper and a good defence who are constantly under huge pressure because every time the ball goes forward it comes straight back!
 
If we can sell him and get two or three good attacking players then it’s a no brainier for me, he’s a great shot stopper and had a big impact on keeping us up last year, but I do think he’s a bit erratic at organising the defence. It’s a no brainier for me.
 
You must mean the keyboard fans who don't go to the game? Never heard the paying fans get on his back. The first lot hardly matter whatever they type.
Was going to say the same. Banners supporting him and championing him being England number one a fair few times this season as well. If he leaves itd be like Richarlison - disappointment, no ill will and an understanding he’s better than we are right now.

No we sold Richy and sign McNeil, Maupay and Garner with the money. Shocking business.
