Pickford is a very good keeper, but Englands international standing in the game has no bearing on how good he is or isn’t. Is Lloris suddenly better because he’s been France’s #1?

It has everything to do with his value mate. It's a team in the same league trying to buy the national keeper, we should be making them pay a WR fee on principle. Never mind all that both sides nonsense it's what's best for us as a club.

Wouldn't sell him unless stupid money come in, by far our best player, a captain and ridiculously consistent compared to others in the team.

More importantly,.our record in the market is horrific, so even if we got good money I have no faith we replace him with anyone even remotely good.
This is the conundrum in which we find ourselves. Our finances are in such a state we need to sell someone decent to fund some of our transfer activity but we know that the cretins running the show will immediately go out and buy someone useless lol

If Man U offer serious money he'll be gone. All the reports of him being very happy here suggest to me more he likes his life in he North West rather than specifically playing for Everton. He doesn't strike me as someone who would fancy London, and a move to Man U would mean he wouldn't have to resettle his family.

Just praying if the worst does happen that we actually reinvest the money wisely, this fella is a huge reason we are still in the premier league and replacing him would not be easy.
