He’s made a few solid saves.

He could literally get wiped out by a sniper as someone shoots and he would get pelters for it.

He’s never put a foot wrong for England so probably deserves his place.

I’d say his worst spell for us was probably after the re-start. I was on the fence with him until the Newcastle capitulation, after that I thought we needed an upgrade but he wasn’t our biggest issue, but his performances after the re-start completely lost any confidence I had with him. Now we have a proper midfield in place I think he’s our biggest problem.

He’s had a relatively decent midfield infront of him and the defenders.
