Not being oppositional here, just asking.

Think it's about 14/15 in the Premier League for us. Played about 50

Most keepers are only as good as the players in front of them. That's why he looked better in the world cup. He did well with the 1v1 today, but it was embarrassing positioning from our defence and midfield that led to that situation. Once we sort out our central midfield, we will look infinitely more comfortable than we do at the moment.

I think the reverse is as true: if you have a confident and dominant keeper behind you it gives the back four a solid foundation to build on.
He's been unfocussed all season. Maybe there was an outstanding contract issue and that's been settled?

Needs to play well every week now it's sorted.

I was looking the other day and it was around 13/14 so +1 for today and it's about that.

He had loads while he was at Preston. Something like 50% of his matches according to a few PNE fans I know.

Hopefully, today marks an upward curve in his clean sheet numbers.

The save at Vietto's feet was great. I've seen so many cowards play in goal for us, it was so refreshing to see.

Pickford kept 10 PL clean sheets in 38 apps last season.

He kept an additional 2 in the Europa League qualification (home v Hajduk, away v the farmers).

That was his first this season, so that's 13 all in all.

That surprises me.

I still rate him as potentially a good GK only though.

I think he's a good goalkeeper who has potential to be much better - not world class, but certainly an excellent goalkeeper - but it's all about opinions.
