Didn't you just put chico on ignore? Didn't you just unnecessarily create a thread telling us that you put Chico on ignore? Why is he not on ignore anymore? Seems like you can't get enough of him to me, ghost. Seems like you have an addiction.

I didn't put Chico on ignore. If I did the weapon would be around my house bugging me.

Take him back in a heart beat. No worries. All forgiven. We miss him, and he aint performed for them like he did for Moyes.
£8 mill tops!

Well I'm a human being first mate. You can't give me hassle for being all tribal against people from other clubs who come on here, and then expect me to defend Everton regardless of any facts at all.

We act all righteous on this forum like we are of a higher state than any other fan. You yourself have been calling Pompey fans proper bells. But if you were a Pompey fan you would be calling Evertonians proper bells.

I get the tribal thing I do, but you can't have it both ways.
I spent a few months down there a few years ago and never heard a negative remark about us although there was plenty about the [Poor language removed] and the saints

Yeah but the buffet at chow time was top notch. Better than the slop they serve now. Unless you weren't blonde with blue eyes, then you were justfiably labelled as a freak.

The Hibbert selection quandry is finally explained.

It all makes perfect sense now.

way delayed, but I'm siding with Dixie on this one

Jolean saw what was going on here, and let's be honest, we don't exactly have all the money in the world

he then saw that he could get a huge pay raise (always nice) and go play for a gajilionaire owner that more than likely promised him that they would spend truckloads of money (which they have/did/will continue doing).... it's not hard to see why he would expect to have a better chance of winning with Citeh then with Everton

of course, money doesn't always buy you championships and it's nice to not just have a team full of mercenaries, but at the end of the day, with an unlimited amount of money, you can go buy (most of) the players you want each transfer window and see if things click... worst case, you make a bad purchase and you sell them for half the cost.... but when your funds are unlimited, it doesn't matter

I was with you at first, that he was saying that as good as Everton are he couldn't see them winning something and he thought he'd had a better chance at city. And my first thought was 'yeah maybe that wasn't the main reason but he is right'.

But I do think that if you look at what he actually says about how our squad was good but inexperienced at the top levels, that's a bit snidey. For every player we've bought from the championship (including Lescott himself) there's been one we've taken from the bench of a top class team whether that's Man U, Atletico, Ajax or Barca.
