...as folk on here know, I backed him at 66-1 to make the World Cup squad a month or so ago. I really think if he was at another club (not saying which one), he'd be in with a shout. I don't think he'll be 66-1 for the Euro's. The lad looks a talent, Rolls Royce footballer.

I think it's easy to forget the lad is 19. He's got a big big future.

Slight hiccup today, but you don't get anywhere being mollycoddled, and he's cracked on, and he'll be immense.

Not enough physical presence yet for me. He's got a wiry strength but still needs to flesh out to make him top class.

England only have about 4 CB's (Jags, Cahill, Smalling (?), Caulker, few more i guess but don't really watch England.) not impossible if 2 get injured

This I agree with. I wouldn't play him against the top teams but would against the likes of Cardiff etc. Not quite there and think another season or 2 he will be top class. Shoot me down if you like but I think he would suit a defensive midfielders role very well.
