…ah such sad news, what a class act he was. I remember watching him in 64/65 in the superb FA Youth Cup winning team with the likes of Jimmy Husband.

i often think about him when I compare modern day defenders on mega-bucks who genuinely weren’t fit to lace his boots. Terrific footballer who will always be one of ours.

…started as a striker in that FA Youth Cup winning team and scored some valuable goals in the 1970 title winning team. I think he scored at Arsenal in a 1-0 win.
