For the first goal, Howard would have taken out Welbeck and been sent off. The second one, it always looks bad when it goes between the keepers legs but it happens as to the best of them as we saw last week.

I am sorry but I don't think one or two reports saying 'believed to be £2m' are accurate. A player formerly of Atletico Madrid and who had just won the FA Cup and been to Wembley would not be sold for £2 million it was undisclosed for a reason. Toffeeweb states it as £4.5m having just googled it..

He hardly played for Atletico, it was probably closer to 2 million than 4.5 million.

He had played for Spain at lots of levels and I am inclined to believe the 4.5 million figure.

I believe the 2 million fee, people over rate him. Decent backup keeper at best, not a number one in my view.

i just thought that was the price stated when he signed, didn't even know it as "undisclosed"
