Sad news to announce that Jimmy Harris who played in the 1950’s for the toffees has sadly passed away aged 88. I remember asking Jimmy about the game at Tottenham when we lost 10-4 and what he remembered. He said “Kicking off every 5 minutes” Jimmy netted a hat trick that day.

RIP Jimmy,I may be wrong but I think he was the second oldest serving ex player behind Billy Bingham?
Imagine that day Jimmy got his hat trick in that 10-4 defeat at Spurs coming back from White Heart Lane & being asked about that game - RIP to a underated blues player who started of as a winger & became a no 9 - his goal scoring record per game was up there with Dave Hicksons condolences to his family ..
A great blues p!ayer in his era RIP
