Is it player power if he just doesn’t fancy the move ? I agree with the move on bit but maybe he sees a relegation battle with perennial struggles in the middle of an ownership crisis as a bad move , rather than player power more an indication he’s got his head screwed on .

If he’s an actual target then the manager needs to express to the player his plans and how he features , to be honest and hopefully lay out attractive and achievable goals . If then he still doesn’t fancy it then yep probably time to move on .
