On another forum he was supposedly giving the all clear recently but he is not keen on coming back to the UK right now...this would make more sense than a harmstring injury but at the same time I am not sure how we could solve this.

I know how, tell the massive quilt we pay his wages and have done for the past 18 months whilst he's been injured so get his arse on the plane back or he doesn't get paid.
