I don’t think anyone can judge him with the few minutes he’s had on the pitch.
I think at the end of this season the option is with Everton whether we sign James for another season or not, I think we would save a lot on wages if we let him go, if the rest of this season is anything like he has performed up to now, good in short spells when he plays, then gets little niggling injuries that keep him out for weeks, mind you he’ll play more in April and May when there is more chance of sunshine.
I thought he looked ok against Watford too at the time considering the lack of a pre season.
2 year contract with option for 3rd. I don't see James going anywhere and that's great but he can't be relied upon to play with any semblance of regularity. We need to plan without him since that will probably occur more often than him being available.
Should help with the chronic pain!
