Don't forget we finished last season without Branthwaite and TarkowskiThat's the worry
Oh throw on top the issue of one injury to a defender more and we actually cannot field a senior back four.
Two injuries already a only have 6 in reality of you discount Coleman whose always injured and Patterson whose currently injured and gash.
Tarkowski is a tank. These are fundamental positions that should have been sorted in the first couple of weeks the summer window opened.
Tarkowski and Branthwaite have both had recent injuries and we all know Keane isn't top class at CB.
It's the same old Everton.
Maybe. If he was protecting his thigh and put too much pressure on the opposing muscle to compensate.Strange that he has a tight thigh then his hammy goes... not related?
Wish people would stop referencing his late season form as evidence that there is some quality in there.Keane looked pretty good at the end of last season, I thought. A lot of his issues will have been confidence related. He’s obviously capable when playing at his best levels.
People shouldn’t panic and insist the club forks out to cover every minor upset. I think there’s a coaching solution for Keane rather than a sudden need to spend big on a new defender.
Nah. This is very similar for me to the Dawson situation. With good coaching Keane is very capable.Wish people would stop referencing his late season form as evidence that there is some quality in there.
Easy to play well when there's a new contract on the line, your opposition are on the beach or tired after a long season, and there's little jeopardy.
Regardless of whether he's technically good enough, at this level you need more than technique. Doesn't have the physical power or speed (turning circle like a tank) nor mental capacity to make and act on decisions with the kind of clarity you need in a high profile game and when the crowd is up... disastrous player
Has shown that he doesn't have the minerals
Agree yet here we are with him starting yet another season...de ja vuWish people would stop referencing his late season form as evidence that there is some quality in there.

Dawson, Yobo, Stubbs, Weir. Moyes has a great track record with older central defenders. Keane deserves a chance.Agree yet here we are with him starting yet another season...de ja vu
Dawson is a leader, Keane isn'tNah. This is very similar for me to the Dawson situation. With good coaching Keane is very capable.
