I dont know where some people get their valuations from.

I mean this lad is special, but when he fancies a move, it will be about taking whats on the table, its not like the whole footballing world isnt aware of our issues.

I think we will get around 60-70m for him in the summer, in the current market he’s worth a lot more but like you say the world knows our financial problems and we certainly don’t have a bargaining hand to play.

He’s just signed a new long term contract so if we don’t fancy taking a pitiful offer for him this summer then it’s just tough really.

I said longer than one more season anyway but we all know by now that contracts are just there to protect value not because they think he'll stay that long. The club has got no money and 777 don't look like they'll change that so offers over 40 mil aren't going to be seen as pitiful even if the club think they are the people they're in debt to won't.

Yes we do, the fact he’s tied to a long contract and will probably be wanted by a lot of clubs.

Then we can keep Branthwaite for another season and this is the reason Pickford should be moved on if we can get a buyer, DCL to even at 30mil

We got 45mil for Gordon who’d had a handful of good games and scored a few goals, Everton will know his value now and his potential value in 18months. He won’t go on the cheap, which is 50mil. Ake and white went for 50mil, there’s 2 examples

I hope you're right i'm just not so sure like I said if he gets England caps and does well its different but I can't see teams offering 60 or 70 mil for a player who hasn't got caps or played in the champions league or anything and I don't know if everton are in a position to turn down bids of 40 and over at the moment even if it seems low.

So Real/Barca come calling and offer 40mil we say we want 70m, you know what will happen the classic transfer request (Agent in his ear) will be handed in then we will have a player who doesn’t want to be here!
