Why would we buy him to send him to the U23's? He was playing at a higher level Carlisle. Should have loaned him back for the rest of the season.

U23s should be for recent U18 graduates and 1st team reserves looking for match fitness. All promising youngsters should be loaned out and playing in the lower pro leagues somewhere. Playing in the U23s does nothing to help develop our players. The hierarchy of coaches should be First > U18 > U15 and below > U23.

Unless they're going to bleed him in slowly into the rotation, I have no idea why he's not gone back out on loan.

Tbf Holgate, DCL, stones all played for u23s when they signed after playing at higher level with previous clubs

Don't know if it's been posted, they've just been talking about Jarrad on transfer talk, in fact his old manager Steven Presley has been waxing lyrical, of how good he can actually become, got some of the attributes we need at the back, good with both feet, to the extent, Presley is not sure if he's right or left footed, 6'4" tall, and fast, still only 17 and Bambi like at times, due to his size and age, but definitely very good prospect.

Looks like he's left footed as it was left strike in the video.
