January Transfer Window 2026

The LBC (Liverpool Broadcasting Corporation) gossip page reports that Sky Sports have said Zirkzee is "high on our list of striker targets for January". Depending on how much he's on and if this has any legs at all would a loan with an option to buy be any good? Is he an out and out striker?

Also, no link to us but WHU have said Fullkrug can leave in January. Carthorse and a half but could he be our Chris Wood for a bit?

….i read DM & saw 2 goals in close on 40 games. I see now ‘winger/attacking midfielder mentioned’. Not sure where he plays.

Regardless, I do think players should be considered if they’re possibly better than we have, they are available and the price is right. It might not stop other areas being strengthened and we don’t know if any players are leaving.

Probably nothing in it anyway.
He certainly looks a useful player based on the highlights in that video, although as others have said they don't really show a DM which is what we could do with.

No and no. No more strikers that have been proven to not score goals please! Zirkzee 36 league appearances for Man Utd and 3 goals, Füllkrug 21 league appearances and 3 goals. We might as well loan DCL back (please don't Ebeptoh!).

Looks like a baby Ndiaye honestly. Hard working dribbly boy who goes past people for fun.
If, as most of us suspect, Grealish is not going to be here next season a baby N'Diaye coming in January ready to step up and replace him in August is no bad thing. We don't really do succession planning at Everton, however, so this probably won't happen.

Whisper it but I think Ndiaye is equally as likely to not be here next season if he keeps playing at this level. Perhaps they'll only 'allow' one to leave though, which is entirely up to Grealish of course.

There will be no worse move for us than going after a striker for the sake of it. Either break the bank or fix the other areas in the squad. Part of the reason the strikers are struggling is the style of play with KDH at the 10. A bargain bin striker will not fix that for 10-30 mil unless by miracle.

He has 3 goals in 36 at Utd, with Fernandes, Amad, Rashford and Garnacho. Not McNeil. Doucoure and Jack Harrison. He also has a worse record in Italy than Beto. I don’t see what is the point in buying him as a striker. And if he’s a not a striker, which some have said. We’ve spent 40mil on 2x number 10’s yes KDH may not be a 10 In our eyes. But Moyes is playing him there and I don’t see him changing. So for me it will be waster of a loan and money getting Zirkzee
