If there really is no money selling Pickford might be the only lifeline we get. We are going down with the squad we have so it might be necessary to roll the dice and hope the goals we can get spending on new forwards are more than the goals we’ll ship with a lesser keeper.

Exactly. We'd have to massively overlay both in terms of the fee and wages to even tempt anyone. Which is how we have ended up with gash players on 100k+ a week. Don't need more of them

Which is why the should have been proactive bringing players or sacking the manager early in the window, now its drifted and our position is even worse. It will be loans but it won't save us a new manager might give us a hope but I am resigned to it. We are going this season.

I'm pretty sure recruitment won't be a problem, even for a club in our position. I'm sure we call all reel off a catalogue of mercenaries who are 'reluctant' to ease our club of thousands a week; what selfless heroes they are....
