I know it's hard to come around to the idea of the person you like hurting you but it's clear that spending big money on two useless players like Doucoure and Allan was the beginning of the end. We needed a refresh and he pushed the gas down only to realize 6 months in the car was falling apart. He then didn't do any repairs and left. That people still talk about Carlo like the good old days is crazy. He's at least as culpable as Benitez and given the money wasted probably more.

I probably wouldn't want to join a club which is accepting relegation, a manager that hasn't got a clue and more importantly a woeful squad of players.

I'll give it to you Allan was a poor signing, but Doucoure had f all to do with Carlo. Doubt he had ever heard of him before he walked into finch farm.

Honestly if you dont see the Carlo days as being good times you may as well pack it in because it's defo not getting any better than that any time soon.

The Everton Hierarchy are REALLY trying to push the narrative that players, which heavily includes players from the continent, will not be wanting to join because some children ran along side some players vehicles, and raised their voices at them? They really are living in a different era aren't they? Go onto any social media site and look up what happens in Europe when fans become disenchanted with their players' performances.
