Tough call for the Championship strikers we are linked with. Basically saying here’s your opportunity to step up to the PL, but if you alone don’t score 10 and assist a few before the seasons end, you’ll be back down, and at a club tearing itself inside out.

Yes you’d be richer, but needs balls of steel to back yourself that much.

We have seen lots of examples in the recent past at different clubs where players were signed over the head of the manager and for that player to be isolated and excluded from the team. It is important the DOF and manager work as a team.

The feller was an absolute donkey for Burnley last season, Chris wood looked 10x the player in the same team before you come back with "if he played in a better team"

I disagree. It’s important that the incoming manager is aware of the structure in place at the club when he signs. The manager is simply a head coach and should be able to work with the DOF’s players. That’s how the modern game works.
