Alexis grandparents where from Ireland they moved to Scotland briefly then moved to Argentina as far as I'm aware, his dad still has a number of cousins in Ireland who he visited as a child (they went out to Argentina) and he also is aware of his Scottish roots.

To be fair to Zat, and I know I'm going to get my bones picked here, DCL had made gradual improvement for a few years, he had to, as we couldn't be arsed buying a new centre forward when Lukaku left, even though we should have. Then Ancelotti got hold of him and he scored goals for fun and got in the England team as Kane's sort of understudy. He was injury free, in the form of his life, scoring for England as well, I would say, young, fast, great in the air, easily worth £60-£70m of anyone's money at that time. But Everton well being Everton then the injuries kicked in and he turned into Darren Anderton.

Without knowing the budget, for me what we need as first priority is a creative CAM, we’ve not replaced Gylfi let alone James as the playmaker. In an ideal world you get both but I’d be concerned about us blowing the whole budget on another winger, when it sounds like Elanga on loan is an option.
