I would be dubious of a lot of the links to players arising after we coincidently receive £40 millions in the bank for Gordon.

Sounds like agents leaking our name to hurry other clubs into spending/overpaying like the Gallagher rumours.

Yep the club should have price points on players that they won’t go beyond on. There has to be some lessons learned from the overpaying on the likes of Siggurdson and Keane.

12th November we played Bournemouth last game before WC, that's 80 days (over 11 weeks) to have had deals lined up to avoid this happening. It's just not acceptable.
