He's got plenty of upside. I am not exaggerating, but he could develop into an amazing player. Would be lovely to have Terrier and Lookman playing behind Bolaisse and Walcott. Terrier would be the fastest player on the squad.

So if the team is struggling no matter what he does he won't be bothered to stick around when the club replace him
By all means if he had come on and we beat most teams we played and rocketed up the league I would imagine he fancied a longer go at the job with a summer to build but besides that, he doesn't want to come out of retirement to get nowhere either which is where we are now
