I'd take him 100% and move on McGeady in the summer, with konapalanka coming in on a free

I'd take him on loan till the end of the season, we'd be daft to pay money for him though. The season is pretty much done bar the Europa (not sure if he's tied for this anyway), no point in throwing cash on him for the sake of it, keep the 5m and put it towards a proper player in the summer, Hull/Sunderland have taught us over the years that you get nowhere buying crap for this sort of cash.
