It's easier to replace the manager than the whole team and given that Martinez isn't exactly in a strong position so it's hardly the best time to be taking a strong position with one of the players. It was one game. You don't know why he wasn't at it and even if it was due to the transfer rumours then on the eve of the window close I can understand not wanting to get an injury especially since he's had loads of hamstring problems.

If he isn't sold I think Mirallas wouldn't have any problem coming to an understanding with Martinez.
