Besic and McCarthy are top quality.

I think next season Besic will be at McCarthy's level having a year to settle.

I can see McCarthy going and us keeping Besic to play alongside Barkely and personally I think Besic will be better than McCarthy. Well that's what I thought when we about to sign Besic.

No disrespect to McCarthy, both are class but do we really want to play with two defensive midfielders when this season it has been shown to be so easy to stop.

Pretty sure you can't talk with players from the same league over a bosman signing until the end of the season. Only foreign clubs can speak to them 6 months beforehand.

Garbutt will go somewhere where he'll walk straight into the first team, he has to at the age of 21/22. Why do you all think he would he swap our bench for Liverpool's just for the sake of it?

I highly doubt they'll pay a backup left back more than we'd pay him if we gave him an extension as he'd probably be a first teamer here next season

We played 3 at the back and Oviedo was a better wingback than Garbutt. I wouldn't read anything into it.
