Yep, I'd rather have Corluka, Nastasic or a fit again Hector Moreno. Shawcross adds that bit of steel, but can he play football?

I would like Shawcross as well, wanted him years ago but we missed out, same with Cahill.

I think most important is a GK to replace both Howard and Robles but RM will sign some one who will go straight to the bench when Howard is fit. RM's transfer record with us is not good of the players signed excluding youngsters the only two worthwhile are McCarthey and Lukaku, the remainder are not upto the standard we want or need. Can RM be trusted with a big wedge of money or should it be saved?

Would try and get cech from Chelsea, he now lost his place but he 33 next season so we couldn't spend too much on him. I would look at David marshall who is 29. Begovic would be great but expensive. Leno would be a massive risk which could pay off.

Cahill would have been great. Real shortage of quality English centre backs at the minute.
