Navas and the mexican keeper are flash in the pans rather than top keepers. Happens every time a keeper is in the spot light. Navas may have been good when the cameras and his country were watching him but is he good enough to do it 38 games + a year?

was the keeper in the official la liga best 11 last season at a pretty crap club, that tells me he can do it over 38+ games.

The difference is though that prior to the World Cup Navas was plying his trade at a distinctly average Levante team and pulling off world class performances week after week, whereas Howard's still scared of his penalty spot incase the scary striker gives him a smack.

Face the facts we all know what we need to move the team on but it won't all be happening in January, any money we have in the pot should go for a winger who's going to put defenders on the back foot (deulofeu) any move for a cb or gk needs to wait till summer.
