The Deulofeu transfer rumour (in summer) seems to have gained some traction. 10 mio Euro. God I hope it's true...but it probably isn't. I suspect he will stay in Spain

Never mind wingers, those centre backs are going to bury us if they're allowed to continue to get automatic places. Martinez should be scouring the world of football right now looking to bring a quality player in.

Jagielka and Distin are the most obvious busted flush in PL football. Marginalise their game time in the second half of the season and get rid in the summer.

If we don't spend in January after that performance, we will get no where near the top 6. A new centre back, I know stones will be back but a back up just in case, and for gods sake a winger to stop playing Barkely outwide. He had a terrific game on Monday and the shoved out wide and expected to do the same thing, all because mirallas was out. He is our key man, get another winger for back up when he's injured or rested/ to replace mcgeady and we'll be sorted.

Oh and a keeper who doesn't flap at shots.

The problem, we had this season was a very poor pre-season piled with a World Cup topped off with a idiotic transfer policy of waiting on Lukaku & Barry plus missing out on Deulofeu.

Besic & Atsu is the only squad addition from the team and we know Atsu is a bag of balls.

January is huge for us and Martinez, he needed to address the lack of width that Barkley, Atsu, McGeady & Eto haven't provided.

We need pace SO badly it's stupid! With Deulofeu even tho he made the wrong option every now and then his pace forced the opposition back 10yds to counterbalance his pace.

In January, we have a huge opportunity to climb the table quickly as well as reaching the lower stages of the Europa but we have to back Martinez to ensure we get Deulofeu or a winger with genuine pace.

It's almost funny .......... most recent January's we've been wishing for that final piece of the jigsaw to get us top 4 and this season, we're wishing for bodies to get us away from any potential dogfight in the lower end of the table.
