“I was with Ross Barkley this week, what I noticed is that there is a lot of self-analysis going on, trying to improve, realising he needs to get better,” Redknapp told Sky Sports 1’s live coverage of the Merseysiders’ loss at White Hart Lane.
“He’s got 18 months left on his contract, he’s in a great position, I personally think he’ll move on. I’m not sure he’ll stay at Everton now.”
I'm sorry to start a new thread but this guy absolute crossed the Rubicon with his comments on Barley before the match. Before the match there was positivity, we were the most inform team in 2017 in the Premier League. In his capacity as a Daily Mail journalist, he is invited to the club to interview one of our most prized assets. Below is the interview

In the interview he does everything he can to undermine Koeman. Effectively, "I think you are fantastic, love you as a footballer, I think Koeman has been really harsh on you." Forget the fact that under a manager who wouldn't say a negative word about him last year, his career fell of a cliff. Looks like the tough love of Koeman is working out well for the lad.
Things are positive at the moment, good noises about the new stadium and Lukaku's new contract. No need for negativity and unsettling. But no, Redknapp and to an extent the media in general just can't help themselves. Our young talented players must be unsettled, Everton can not be allowed to progress.
I would seriously ban Redknapp from Goodison. He is allowed into the club to interview an Everton gem and then spouts that rubbish today. Just out of place and no need for it. Analyse why Barkley is doing better recently, what has changed. No need for stiring it months before the summer window is open. He played for Spurs, his dad was the manager there, so it's not too outrageous to say he has an agenda.
If a similar thing happened at Liverpool, there would be uproar. Could you imagine if they allowed a journalist on their property in the week to interview Coutinho and then on the Sunday he came out and said " I think he will be off in the summer." He wouldn't be allowed in Melwood again.
Neville having a pop at Arsenal TV. He needs to have a look closer to home and see why so many fans don't trust them.
