Personally think it's highly unlikely we'll see more than one new signing in the starting lineup. Managers always seem to hate throwing them in straight away. Reckon it will be Doucoure or Allan, probably the latter as he's had more days of training with the squad.
After Carlo watching that midfield last season.....no chance.

Both CM's will start.
I think James starts too.

Managers will play their strongest in any game , worked for Bruce yesterday.

I don't think I've seen a positive comment from anybody outside the club (apart from South American specialists like Vine). It's like they really want him to fail to justify the fact that he's come to a club like Everton.

I don't think I've ever wanted a new Everton player to succeed quite so much. Apart from the fact that it would be great for us, I just want to see all these "experts" eat their words.
Yeah you get the feeling if he’d have went to a Man U or a Chelsea, the so called “experts” would be highlighting how much of an exciting signing it could be, rather than focusing on how it could potentially go wrong (as is the case with any signing in football).

I don’t know, I still get upset when I think about how much I thought Van Der Meyde was going to turn us around. I remember being in Villarreal square before the game and everyone being made up we’d signed him after Wyness bounced through the crowd proclaiming the news

I’ll be very surprised and a bit disappointed if we don’t start both Doucoure and Allan after how poor our midfield was last season.

I’ll be a bit disappointed not to see James start but I’d understand that more.

Mate. You do realise you've just compared Van der Meyde to James Rodriguez.

Yeah.

I think it's a status thing. Trying to justify why he would come to a club like Everton.

I think he'll be a success for us on the pitch.

I think I underestimated how much of a global superstar he is. If he does well and the side follows suit it's going to be great for the club with the new exposure he's brought to us.

Made up we signed him.

2-3 weeks ago was it, that midfield had us 3-0 down against Blackpool. He play them

If he gone anywhere else.
Remember last season or one before.
Richarlison 40m over priced ruined the transfer window
Anderson 43m amazing signing and a bargain.

weren't there similar mutterings about Richarlison when he came, unproved, flash in the pan etc etc.

Don’t be upset mate, be happy.

No pressure, no issue, we’re just going about our business quietly. This works.

I think all 3 new boys start today. Without them I wouldn't be surprised with a defeat today so it makes sense to me to play them. They get match fit by playing & we hope nobody gets injured.
