Massively. He must be a decent player if he's going from Juve to a club playing their first top flight season ever with a ground that they train on and play on with a 4000 (I haven't missed a zero BTW) capacity.

They paid 1.2 million for him a few years ago and he has over 100 premiership games under his belt and is pretty much a regular for the Republic ( Yea, I know ). In the open market he's probably worth 7 to 9 million, but Whelan's in a strong position because he doesn't have to sell. 12 + 3 million would probably swing it and Martinez plainly wants him. If Felli leaves it's going to happen so we might as well all just get used to it.
